Supplying safe and affordable housing to Oxford County residents is a top priority. A 2008 Social Report which assessed the quality of life of Oxford County residents; revealed that finding affordable housing tops the list of obstacles. Over 7700 households spend more than 30% of their income on housing costs. This translates to the likelihood of a financially strained household with inadequate funds for nutrition, education, clothing, transportation and healthcare.
